Laser Tag Supplies

Laser tag is a very popular activity, especially among children and teens. It's a fun, active way to spend some time. Laser tag is an extremely popular party activity, which is part of the reason that there are so many laser tag places out there. Laser tag rental places, which usually have arcades and other activities, allow you to rent laser tag supplies, and have intense battles with other players. These venues are nice because you can go to one alone or with a small group of friends, and still have a good time with other players. Plus, you don't have to buy your own laser tag supplies, which can be expensive.

Laser Tag Supplies

The laser tag supplies you will need depend on how intense of an experience you want to have. The basic supplies include simply a gun and protective eyewear. If you want to be a little more into the game of laser tag, you will want to buy a vest with sensors on it. These vests, like the ones that most laser tag venues have, are covered in sensors, so that when you get shot, it records when and where you were hit. With normal laser tag guns, the only sensors are on the guns themselves, so there is no way of knowing where you hit someone, and it's harder to actually hit them in the first place. Unfortunately, the more advanced laser tag supplies are fairly expensive, so you might have to settle for the basics.

No matter what kind of guns you're using, you should ALWAYS wear protective eyewear. Some guns will not do any damage to your eyes, but others will, and you never know what kind of guns your opponents will be playing with. Protective eyewear is an essential laser tag supply and should always be worn. All laser tag venues, at least the ones that I've been to, require all players to wear protective goggles, and there are usually pretty strict rules for what can and cannot be done. If you'd rather not follow the rules, you can go out and play with friends outside or at another location, but if you continue to break the rules within a laser tag venue, you will probably be kicked out.

The disadvantage to playing with friends and not at a professional venue is that each person has to have their own equipment, and it all has to be compatible. You can't just use 3 different types of laser tag guns made by 3 different companies, and expect them to work together. Because all the guns have to be the same, or at least made by the same company, it might be wise to get together with a group of friends and buy the guns all at once. That way, you'll be sure to get the right matching guns, and you'll probably be able to save some money by buying in bulk. It might seem expensive to buy your own laser tag supplies, but if you do it enough, it can save you a lot of money vs. going to venues and renting equipment.
