It seems like nowadays; kids would rather stay inside and play video games all day than do anything productive or active. As a parent, it's your job to make sure your children get enough exercise. I know this is easier said than done, which is why I'm here to help. Laser tag is an excellent way to get kids interested in "real" activities rather than virtual worlds. And, for New York residents, there is no better place to play than Zero Gravity Laser Tag.
Zero Gravity Laser Tag, located in Albany, New York, has been extremely popular ever since its grand opening. Using state of the art technology, Zero Gravity Laser Tag provides the ultimate experience possible. They are not yet a chain, so as of the time of this writing; the only venue is in Albany, New York. If you're a Albany resident or you plan on visiting New York soon, be sure to check out the activities at Zero Gravity!
The arena at Zero Gravity Laser Tag is over 5,000 sq. ft. and can accommodate up to 40 players at a time. There are multiple levels in the arena, so you can choose to either sit back from a "safe" place and snipe, or join your friends on the front line and engage in all-out war. Teams can be up to 20 players, and it's good old fashioned Red vs. Blue.
Zero Gravity Laser Tag opens its arms wide to walk-in players, but it specializes in parties, corporate events, and group games. They have areas for corporate meetings, as well as a number of accommodations for birthday parties and other events. They can provide food (usually pizza unless something else is ordered), and refrigerators are available for any drinks, cakes, ice cream, etc. that you want to bring in.
Unlike some laser tag centers, Zero Gravity is fairly affordable. If you're alone, games cost $6-$8 depending on how many games you buy. Each game lasts around 15 minutes, with 3-5 minutes of warm up/instruction time. Group pricing is available, and discounts are often offered for large events. Keep in mind that on a busy day, even if you buy 3 games of tag, you might not be able to play them all in a row due to the massive amount of volume that Zero Gravity Laser Tag handles.
If you're planning an event at Zero Gravity, you're probably wondering what your guests can do while they're not playing. Well, for one, there is a large arcade on site. The arcade helps keep guests busy while nothing else is going on, and since it's all coin-operated, there's no need to wait in line to get tokens or anything like that. There are change machines spread around the lobby, so you shouldn't have trouble getting people playing quickly.
